01 — The short version

ORE Part 1 revision that answers “But why?”

That’s the question most revision leaves you with. Dentoscore answers it: 3,300+ original questions written to the ORE Part 1 blueprint, each one worked five ways with its source named, so you learn the reasoning, not the pattern.

54 seconds. That’s what ORE Part 1 gives you per question.

Two hundred questions in a three-hour paper. Dentoscore trains you for it — six mock papers of 200, three Paper A and three Paper B, taken at full exam pace, then a results screen that measures you against that clock.

Every answer, worked five ways.

Most revision marks you right or wrong and moves on. Here, every answer is worked through five ways, with its source named, so you understand why it is right and can use that same reasoning on the very next question.

Five ways.Explanation · Key pearl · Rationale · Distractors · Exam trap

Then the source it rests on, named on the question.

Start with 300 free questions.

No card, no ads and nothing to cancel. 150 questions sit on this site with no sign-up, and a free account adds 150 more, so you can try Dentoscore properly, at your own pace, before you decide whether it is right for you.

In the app you pick your topics, paper and difficulty, and your scores are saved.

A plan that counts down to your exam.

Set your exam date and the study planner lays out the weeks for you, topic by topic. Tick sessions off as you go, move them when work gets in the way, and see at a glance how much revision is left before exam day.

12 weeks.Free with your account, about 13 hours a week.

The 8-week intensive and 16-week steady plans come with Base.

Every answer names its source.

Every question says where its answer comes from: UK guidance or legislation where it exists, otherwise an Oxford Handbook page or settled UK teaching, with a direct link to that page whenever the source is available online.

1,500+questions link straight to their source page.

So you can check the reasoning yourself.

05 — Source named and checked

You can check us, question by question

A question is only as good as the checking behind it. Every one here goes through the same six steps before it reaches you.

01

Written to the blueprint

Each question starts from a syllabus area and a real clinical decision — never from anybody’s memory of a paper.

02

Tagged to both frameworks

Mapped to a GDC Preparing for Practice outcome and a Safe Practitioner domain, so the bank sits against both frameworks.

03

Source named

UK guidance or legislation where it exists, otherwise an Oxford Handbook page or settled UK teaching. Named on each question.

04

Decoys balanced

Wrong options are made plausible and even in length, so the length of an answer is no clue to whether it is right.

05

Checked against the bank

Repeated stems are screened out, and 900 of the 1,200 mock questions never appear in the study bank, so most of a mock is new to you.

06

Corrections welcome

Every screen has a Report an issue link. Report a question you think might be wrong and we’ll verify it and correct it, so everyone benefits.

The guidance itself — the sources the bank is written against.

The 15 sources 14 named + consensus▾

Straight about the links. Every question names its source. 1,500+ of them carry a direct link to their source page. The others name a printed page of the Oxford Handbooks, or rest on settled UK teaching where there is no single page to point at. Those are checked against the same guidance — they just don’t get a clickable line.

06 — Sit five questions

Don’t take our word for it. Answer one.

A revision tool is only worth anything if the explanation is good. So here are five, free, with no account. Answer on the left; the working appears on the right — the same five tiers and the same source line you get inside the app.

Question 1 of 5 Medically compromised patients

A patient stable on warfarin (INR 3.2, checked yesterday) needs a single, simple extraction. What is the most appropriate management?

The working appears here.

Answer on the left and this panel fills with the same five tiers that sit under every question inside the app — then the source it was written against.

ExplanationWhat the guidance actually says.
Key pearlOne portable rule to carry into the exam.
Correct rationaleWhy that key answers this stem.
Distractor breakdownWhy each wrong option fails.
Exam trapThe misconception it’s built on.

07 — Honest by design

Three promises that shaped every screen

No ads, no distractions

You paid to revise, not to be marketed at. There are no ads, no upsells and no popups anywhere inside the app. Every screen stays quiet and focused, so your attention goes where it matters.

Honest and independent

Every question is original and names its source: UK guidance, an Oxford Handbook page or settled UK teaching. We’re not affiliated with any exam board, and we never reproduce the exam.

Grows with you

The app keeps improving after you join. Tell us what would help your revision and we’ll build it. More questions, mocks and topics are added over time, and your feedback shapes what comes next.

08 — Pricing

You deserve revision that can prove itself

If you’re preparing for ORE Part 1 you already know the problem: the exam costs a small fortune to sit, and most of what circulates between candidates is somebody’s memory of somebody’s notes. So the pricing here is deliberately kept accessible for what’s inside. Three paid plans, one length. That’s it.

★ Introductory pricing — one payment for six months, not a subscription, so nothing renews on its own. Add time whenever you like, or move up a plan and pay the difference for the days you have left (at least £5). All prices include VAT.
